8. Mounting the System
8.1 Important notes and installation requirements
For installation, all instructions and spacing requirements in this manual,
as well as all applicable regulations, must be observed and complied with.
Also note the following information:
Requirements for the installation site
• This energy storage system is an outdoor version
and can be installed in an outdoor or indoor area.
However, if installed indoors, make sure that its function
cannot be affected by the building structure, furnishings,
appliances operating in the room or similar.
• The energy storage system is naturally ventilated.
Make sure that the installation site is clean, dry and sufficiently ventilated.
• For installation and maintenance purposes,
all system components must be freely accessible
and the panels of the system must not be blocked.
• The following installation locations are not permitted:
• Habitable rooms
• Ceiling cavities or wall cavities,
on roofs that are not specifically considered suitable
access / exit areas or under stairs / access walkways
• Places where the freezing point can be reached,
such as garages, carports, wet rooms (environmental category 2) etc.,
locations with humidity and condensation over 95%,
places where salty and humid air can penetrate
• Seismic areas;
additional security measures are required for this purpose!
• Sites with altitude over 2000m above sea level
• Places with an explosive atmosphere
or near combustible materials or gases
• Locations with direct sunlight
or a large change in the ambient temperature
• Restricted locations as defined for panels in AS / NZS 3000
• Near a TV aerial or aerial cable
