7.4 Setting up connection via remote
desktop
If you do not want to use HBM's "QuantumX Data
Recorder Assistant" or do not want to install it, you can
also set up a connection via the "remote desktop"
program (the program is a component of the Windows
operating system). In Windows 7, the program can be
found under All programs -> Accessories. In Windows
XP, call it up via Programs -> Accessories.

Procedure
1. Enter the IP address of the CX22-W (factory setting
172.24.128.128).
2. Click on Connect.
3. If Windows queries whether a connection to the
remote computer should be set up, confirm the
connection. We recommend activating the option Do
not ask about connection to this computer again
(see Fig. 7.2 on Page 32). Depending on the
configuration of your Windows operating system,
