A sudden voltage loss during data writing to the
CompactFlash memory can lead to data loss or to
permanent damage of memory cards.
The memory LED on the back of the module displays the
writing activity.
HBM offers an international power unit with 24 V DC
output voltage (NTX001) for stationary operation.
We recommend setting up cycle-dependent intervals for
long-term measurements.
If the CX22W is supplied from a vehicle battery, we re­
commend to use an uninterruptable power supply to
avoid voltage drops in case the engine is started.
The Fast­Stream module is a recording method specially
developed for high sampling rates (20 kS/sec per
channel and more) and/or high numbers of channels. The
data are written here directly to a file. It is not possible to
use a pre-trigger in this case. This file type is converted
into the catman standard format for the post­process
analysis on the PC; this can take several minutes with
larger files (> 1 GByte)
6.2 Operation with monitor and
keyboard/mouse
This type of operation is the simplest. It does not require
any configuration, but you will need a monitor with digital
input (DVI) and a mouse and keyboard with USB
connection.
