13.5 Partitioning memory in the CX22-W

The available memory in the CX22-W data recorder
(internal CF card) is divided into two equally sized areas:
S 4 GBytes are used for the operating system
(WindowsXP embedded) and catman
specifically protected against (unintentional) change
(Partition C, EWF filter).
S 4 GBytes are available for free storing the
configuration data (Partition D).

Important
All changes made in Partition C: are only temporary, as
this partition is protected against change (EWF, see
Section 13.6). In the start screen, click on Commit
changes and reboot to permanently save the new
settings or the newly installed software. The CX22-W is
then rebooted, you must therefore set up the connection
again after the restart.

