3. If you are not using transducers with TEDS
(Transducer Electronic Data Sheet), assign the
connected sensors (transducers) to channels. Find
your sensors in the sensor list (Component window
Sensor database), then Drag&Drop each sensor to
the channel it is connected to. Set up your sensors in
the sensor database, as required.
4. Assign unique channel names.
You can generate channel names with sequential
numbering or apply the sensor designation via the
context menu Rename. Each channel is identified in
catman
EASY by its name, therefore use meaningful
names where possible.
5. Select the channels to be set to zero and run a zero
adjustment (Zero balance, Zero balance group).
6. Deactivate any unused channels (group General,
Active: Deactivate channels without sensors).
7. Define calculations - if required: Create in the
Calculation channels group.
8. Activate Live update (DAQ channels tab, General
group) to continuously display measured values and
check that all channels are working correctly.
9. Go to the DAQ jobs tab.
10. Select your measurement conditions: data rate(s),
measurement start and stop. Select DAQ start via
Trigger and Digital input in Trigger mode in order
to use the digital inputs or the START/STOP button of
the CX22-W (also see Sections 12.1 and 12.2 on
Page 72).
