1. In the catman
Additional options.
2. Use System -> Folders to specify the default folders
for your data and images. Set up additional folders to
do this, e.g. "E:\Projects".
Settings are only used the first time the data or
images are saved, as after this, catman
always retains the last folder used.
3. If you want to carry out a great many calculations with
vast data sets, you should also create the catman
working directory on drive E:, e.g.
"E:\HBMcatWorkingDir".
Sensor database
The sensor database is an easy way to adjust the
measuring chain to the sensor being used. You only
need to enter the characteristic values of a sensor once,
after which you can click to assign this sensor to the
channel it is connected to. The device is then set to the
characteristic values of this transducer.
In the default setting (condition at the time of delivery),
an English sensor database is used. But you can switch
to a German or French language sensor database. The
data are identical, it is just the sensor group names that
are in the respective languages.
Procedure for modifying the sensor database

1. In catman EASY, use the Sensor database context
tab and the File menu to load the relevant sensor
database from the installation directory
"C:\ProgramsHBMcatmanEasy_DE" or
"C:\ProgramsHBMcatmanEasy_FR".

