EPS 708 satisfies the requirements of EMC directives
2014/30/EU and EN 61800-3.
Warning! This product may cause high-frequency

3.1

Proper use

These operating instructions describe the common
rail test bench EPS 708 (hereinafter referred to as
EPS 708). The EPS 708 is used to test common rail
pumps (referred to as CP) and common rail injectors
(referred to as CRI/CRIN) from the manufacturers
Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Siemens and Continental.
CRI/CRIN and CP must be tested and measured in
accordance with the instructions. The approved special
accessories must be used for connection.

If the EPS 708 and the supplied accessories
are operated contrary to the way specified by
the manufacturer in the operating instructions,
the protection provided by the EPS 708 and the
supplied accessories may be compromised.

The user bears sole responsibility for the
correctness and suitability of test routines that he
has created. Robert Bosch GmbH gives no warranty
and accepts no liability for damages, expenditure
and other consequences that may arise as the result
of incorrect or wrongly defined actuating data,
setting and test values on the part of the user.

The EPS 708 cannot be used to test CP2x pumps.

Depending on the ambient temperature, the drive
motor or the chiller is shut down if, during test
routine on components, the required power set is
higher than specified in the test routines on the
TestData CD.
