All attendants must be informed about this. To avoid injuries,
always make sure that no parts of the body, e. g. hands or
feet, get into the danger zone, that no interfering objects, e.
g. clothing, or obstacles are within the danger zone and that
no unauthorised persons are present in the danger zone.
6.7.1 Electric Seat Height Adjustment (Optional)
WARNING
Risk of injury if the power wheelchair tips over. Creep
speed is automatically activated when the seat height adjust-
ment device is operated. If this is not case, this represents
a malfunction and the seat height adjustment function must
not be used. Contact a specialist dealer as soon as pos-
sible to eliminate the problem.
CAUTION
Risk of injury if the power wheelchair tips over. The
power wheelchair can tip over if the seat height adjustment
device is in the raised position and the user can fall out of
the wheelchair. The following safety instructions must be
followed under all circumstances:

n Only travel short distances when the seat height adjust-
ment device is in the raised position, e. g. when manoeu-
vring.
n Depending on the standard version, the maximum load
capacity of the seat with installed seat height adjustment
device is 160 kg or 200 kg.
n Use the seat height adjustment function only with the
backrest set to a vertical position.
n Apply the lap belt, if possible.
n Use the seat height adjustment function only on level
ground.
n Do not change the mounting position of the seat height
adjustment device.
n For retrofit or conversion of the seat height adjustment
device, observe the instructions provided in the service
manual.
CAUTION
Risk of pinching in the seat height adjustment range.
When using the seat height adjustment function, there are
shearing and crushing points in the area below the seat of
the power wheelchair. To avoid injuries, do not reach into
the danger area.
