WARNING
Risk of accident and injury if plug or screw connections
come loose. For all setting works or for folding down the
backrest for transportation, screw and / or plug connections
have to be loosened. This can cause uncontrolled movements
of wheelchair components.
To avoid injuries at pinch and shear points, carry out such
works with the support of another person. Make sure to
always keep parts of the body (e. g. hands or head) out of
the danger zone.
CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to unsecured screw connections.
When screw connections with thread locks are loosened,
they must be replaced by new ones or secured with a me-
dium-strength thread lock substance (e. g. EuroLock A24.20).
After any settings on the C2000 power wheelchair are es-
tablished or changed, the mounting screws and / or nuts
must be retightened securely. During tightening observe
torques when specified.
Various adjustments can be made to the power wheelchair.
C2000
The seat height, seat width and seat angle have been set in
accordance with the indications on the customer order form
and may only be changed by the specialist dealer.
The rear wheel suspension, which is included in the standard
equipment, must be adjusted by an authorised dealer.
The following items can be adapted by the user:
  n Back angle
n Height and position of the armrests
  n Lower leg length
If need be, the side panels can be removed.

6.1.1 Backrest

The backrest can be set to four different angles by pulling the
release strap at the base of the backrest (see Fig. 7).
Once the backrest is in the desired position, release the strap
to engage the locks in the next locking position.
