n Ensure that no interfering objects, such as clothing or
other obstacles, are in the danger area while electric
seat options are used.
WARNING
Risk of pinching or crushing when actuators are over-
loaded. Avoid overloading the actuators. Overloading
may cause the spindle nut to break, causing the seat to
sag or the backrest to flip back suddenly.
NOTICE
Damage due to improper use of the electric seat op-
tions.
n When using electric seat options, note that the seat
function actuators are not designed for continuous
use, only for short-term use under limited loads (10%
load, 90% idle time).
n Observe the following guidelines: at maximum load
capacity, 10 seconds of activation time must be follo-
wed by approx. 90 seconds of idle time. The electric
seat functions are considered independently of the
driving function for this purpose.
n Only activate the electric seat functions if no fault or
error is present.

6.7.2 Electric Seat Height Adjustment

WARNING
Risk of falling due to improper use of the seat height
adjustment feature.
n Drive in street traffic only with the seat height adjust-
ment lowered.
n Use the seat height adjustment feature only with the
backrest in the upright position.
n When driving with the seat height adjustment feature
raised, fasten the belts (lap belt, four-point belt) and
do not lean out beyond the seat surface.
n Ensure that creep speed is activated when the seat
height adjustment function is used. If this is not the
case, contact a specialist dealer immediately. Only
use the power wheelchair with the seat height adjust-
ment in its lowest position until the fault is repaired.
