b) Mounting the Aileron Servos

Find the servo shaft covers in the first third of
each wing at the bottom of the wing. Cut out
this area carefully with a cutter knife (arrows in
figure 2) and iron on the film with an iron at the
sides.
The length slots for the rods must be cut into
the servo shaft covers as well (arrows in figure
2).
Produce suitable extension cables for the aile-
ron servos. For reasons of safety, soldering of
the servo to the extension cables is preferred
(to plugged extension cables).
Insert the extended servo cables onto the servo
shaft and out again at the rib of the wing at the
bottom of the wing (figure 1, item 2).
Then the servos can be installed in the servo
holders of the servo shaft covers and the rud-
der horns can be attached at a right angle.
For this, two hard wood blocks each from the scope of delivery must be glued to the servo shaft covers so that the
rudder horn of the servo protrudes centrally from the length slots.
The servos are attached to the hard-wood blocks with matching screws for the servos' scope of delivery (figure 2,
item 1).
The servo shaft covers are later screwed on with four thread-cutting screws 1.5 x 6 mm after completion of all work
(figure 2, item 2).

c) Mounting the Rudder Horns to the Ailerons

Draw in the assembly location of the rudder horn at the ailerons in a straight line from the rudder horn of the servo.
Drill the corresponding holes with the matching drill. The rudder horns can now be installed to the ailerons with screws
M2 x 25 mm and the counterplate.
Any protruding screws on the ailerons must be shortened.
To avoid breaking out of the drill holes, drill a hole as a counter-bearing slowly, at a right angle and with
a hard-wood support as a counter-bearing. For best results, we recommend drilling at 0.1 mm below the
size.
