h) Mounting the Rudder and Elevator Linkage and in the Rudder Linkages
Glue the rudder and the elevators to the rudder hinges.
Use super glue or viscous 5-minute epoxy glue for this.
Then place the rudders to the dampening areas. Check easy running as well as whether there is enough of a rudder
deflection. When everything is perfect, the rudders can be glued to the dampening areas with the hinges.
The rudder rope (3) is guided out of the fusela-
ge in the area of the elevator servo (1).
The assembly site of the rudder horn must be
determined in a straight line from the rudder
slot and the rudder horn must be installed on
both sides there (as shown in the aileron).
Produce control ropes (3) at the left and right of
the rudder horns of the rudder (4). For this, use
material from the construction kit.
When producing the linkage rods, take suitable
measures (crimping, gluing, etc.) to observe
that the ropes cannot slip out of the rudder
horns under tension as well.
The ropes are attached to the outer hole of the
respective rudder horn. The linkage to the rud-

Install the elevator servo (1) as shown in figure 6. For this, first produce suitable extension cables. For reasons of
safety, soldering of the servo to the extension cables is preferred (to plugged extension cables). The extension cables
should be secured inside the fuselage then, e.g. with cable ties.
Install the rudder horns to the elevator (2) in a straight line from the rudder horn of the elevator servos. Produce
suitable elevator linkages with the material from the construction set and attach them.
