8. Final assembly of the airplane model
Before starting with the assembly of the model, you should ensure an appropriate surface In order to attain excellent flight performance, your model is manufactured
from light plastic foam. However, this material is very sensitive. Small mistakes during assembly of the model quickly lead to unsightly bumps or even holes in
the surface.
In the operating instructions, the numbers in the text always refer to the figure opposite or the figures within the section. Cross references to other
figures are indicated with the respective figure number.

a) Mounting the engine nacelle stub

Hold the engine nacelle stub (1) from underneath against the wing (2)
and then fasten it with screws from above through the wing using 4
countersunk screws (2 mm diameter).
For the two front screw connections (3) use two
10 mm screws and for both rear screw connections (4) use two 15 mm
long screws.
b) Servo installation
Two mini servos are required to steer the elevator and rudder. The
maximum housing length of the servo may not exceed 24 mm due to the
pre-mounted servo frame. The upper servo(1) is for movement of the
elevators, and the lower servo (2) is intended to move the rudder.
Screw the servos into the frames as per the adjacent illustration.
After the steering cables (3) have been connected to the servo lever (4),
the lever must be mounted at right angles (90°) to the servo.
Our tip:
If you attach both servos to the receiver and activate the remote control, the servos will move to the middle (neutral) setting your require.
This allows the correct setting of the servo lever to be checked and adjusted where necessary. Light misalignments of the servo levers can be corrected using
the sub-trimming and/or the trim function on the transmitter.
The remote control documentation will provide you with exact information about which servo needs to be attached to which respective receiver
output and which trim functions are available to you.
