• If the model is equipped with an electric motor, it must have an input power of about 1500 W or more. A matching
LiPo battery (as of 6 cells, as of 4500 mAh, 30C), as well as a suitable flight controller, the propeller to match the
motor and the propeller tappet are required as power supply. Furthermore, 5 servos are required (2x ailerons, 2x
elevators and 1x rudder of the standard class with at least 65 Ncm thrust).
Practical advice:
For a plane model like the „Piper J3 Cub", we recommend use of a state-of-the-art 2.4 GHz computer remote
control system with mixing functions. In this case, you have the option of putting every servo to a separate
receiver output to thus set every servo individually.
