BREAK-IN
The following rules should be adhered to during the
running-in period:
I before moving off, allow the engine to warm up by
idling for a while, the time depending on the tempera-
ture;
I avoid exceeding the running-in rpm listed in the table
below, bearing in mind that, whilst observing these
limits, it is good practice not to ride at a constant speed,
but to vary the speed often;
I before stopping, decelerate gradually to avoid sub-
jecting the engine components to abrupt temperature
changes;
I remember that the components will only be fully
bedded in after several thousand miles, and it is only
then that you will be able to enjoy using the motorcycle
to its full capacity and for prolonged periods.

After the first 500÷1500 km
I change the engine oil.
Should the oil level drop to the minimum before
completing the first 500÷1500 kilometers, carry out
a complete oil change rather than just topping up.
Recommended oil: «Agip SUPER 4T SAE 15W/50».
I Replace gear lubrication oil.
I Replace transmission box lubrication oil.
I Check that all the nuts and bolts are tight.
I Check rocker clearance.
I Check tyre pressures.

Gradually increase rpm until maximum
