RECORDING WITH A CASSETTE DECK
ENREGISTREMENT AVEC UN MAGNETOCASSETTE

Connect the audio source component while referring to the
sections "CONNECTIONS".
2. Press the POWER switch to the ON position.
3. If the TAPE 2 MONITOR switch is ON, press to turn OFF,
4. Use the INPUT SELECTOR switch to select the desired pro-
gram source.
@ When recording to AM or FM broadcasts; press the desired STA-
TION CALL switch if the station has been preset. If the desired sta-
tion has not been preset, tune in the station using Auto, Manual or
Direct Access tuning.

5. Play the desired program source (record, compact disc, etc.).
6. Begin recording by following the operating procedures for
the applicable cassette deck.
@ The volume, balance and tone controls have no effect on the recor-
ding.
Copying tapes
(See Fig. [23])
The following operation is TAPE 1/DAT - TAPE 2 copying.
TAPE 2 ~ TAPE 1/DAT copying is not possible.
1. Connect the cassette deck to be used for playback to the
TAPE 1/DAT jacks, and the cassette deck for recording to the
TAPE 2 jacks.
2. If the TAPE 2 MONITOR switch is ON, press to turn OFF.
3. Press the TAPE 1/DAT switch.
© Set the playback deck to the playback mode and simultaneously
set the recording deck to the recording mode.
© If the recording cassette deck is equipped with a monitoring func-
tion, the recording can be monitored by pressing the TAPE 2 MONI-
TOR switch to the ON position.
Tape monitoring
When
recording is performed on a cassette deck equipped with
three heads, the recorded sound can be monitored through the
Speaker system by pressing the TAPE
2 MONITOR switch. In this
case, both recording and playback connections must be made.

1. Connecter le composant de source audio tout en se référant
aux sections "CONNEXIONS".
2. Appuyer sur le commutateur d'alimentation (POWER) pour le
régler sur la position ON.
3. Sila touche de contréle magnétocassette 2 (TAPE 2 MONI-
TOR) est enclenchée, la relacher.
4. Utiliser les touches du sélecteur d'entrée (INPUT SELECTOR)
pour sélectionner la source de programme désirée.
* Lors d'un enregistrement d'émissions AM ou FM, appuyer sur la
touche STATION CALL désirée si la station a été préréglée. Sila sta-
tion désirée n'a pas été préréglée, syntoniser la station en utilisant
!a syntonisation automatique, manuelle ou a accés direct.
5. Reproduire la source de programme désirée (disque, disque
compact etc.)
,
6. Commencerl'enregistrement en suivant la procédure pour le
magnétocassette concerné.
¢ Les commandes
de volume, d'équilibre et de tonalité n'ont pas
d'effet sur l'enregistrement.
| Copie de bandes

Les opérations suivantes sont pour une copie TAPE 1/DAT > TAPE 2.
La copie TAPE 2 > TAPE 1/DAT n'est pas possible.
1. Connecter le magnétocassette utilisé pour fa reproduction
aux prises TAPE 1/DAT et le magnétocassette pour I'enregis-
trement aux prises TAPE 2.
2. Sila touche de contréle magnétocassette 2 (TAPE 2 MONI-
TOR) est enclenchée, appuyer pour la relacher.
3. Appuyer sur la touche magnétocassette 1/DAT (TAPE 1/DAT).
¢ Régler le magnétocassette de reproduction dans le mode de repro-
duction et régler simultanément ie magnétocassette d'enregistre-
ment dans le mode d'enregistrement.
® Si le magnétocassette d'enregistrement est pourvu d'une fonction
de contréle, l'enregistrement peut étre contrélé en mettant la
touche de contréle magnétocassette 2 (TAPE 2 MONITOR) sur la
position ON.
