• Read the operating instructions of the trailer attentively and always observe the safety
notes of the trailer manufacturer.
• Familiarise yourself with the new cycling and braking behaviour of the E-bike outside
of road traffic first! Danger of accident!
DANGER
• T he maximum permitted total weight of the E-bike must not exceed the value indicat-
ed in chapter "Technical data". The total weight includes the E-bike, the rider and any
load (e.g. basket and side bags, including contents, child seat incl. child, trailer includ-
ing trailing load.). Exceeding it may cause damage up to breaking of parts. Danger of

It is generally possible to use a City E-bike with a trailer. Depending on purpose, there are
many different kinds and types of available trailers. Specifically when choosing a trailer for
transporting persons, make sure that it is safe. Trailers with a safety seal are to be preferred
in any case.

E-bikes of this type are not constructed for being used with a trailer.

THEFT PROTECTION

Take out theft protection in your own interest. Always lock your E-bike, even if you only leave
it unsupervised briefly. Use only safety-tested locks and safety devices. We recommend locks
of the PROPHETE brand.
