2. Hydraulic rim brake: Take the brake cylinder
ver socket
(fig. BE) in order to take out the wheel more easi-

ly later.
2. Only for models with front hub motor: Pull off the motor cable
(fig. BF) at the plug connection

3. Only for models with front motor: Pull off the caps from the
right and left axle sides.
4. Release the nuts that ensure tight fit of the front wheel with a
18 mm or 15 mm wrench (depending on design).
5. Take the nuts including washers off the axle.
6. Pull out the front wheel from the axle holder.
INSTALLING THE FRONT WHEEL
1. Insert the front wheel straight into the axle holder with the mo-
tor cable on the right (only for models with front-wheel motor).
2. Push the washers and nuts onto the axle.
3. Tighten the axle nuts again with a 18 mm or 15 mm wrench
(see chapter on torque specification).
4. Place both caps onto the axle nuts.
5. Only for models with front hub motor: Plug the motor cable
(fig. BF) into the socket
6. V-brake rim brake: Connect the brake cable

7. Hydraulic rim brake: Close the quick-clamping lever
[CLOSE]. If the lever closes too easily, the quick-clamping
screw must be adjusted (see chapter Brakes).
8. Check that the rim brake works properly. Adjust it if necessary (s.
chapter Brake).
REAR WHEEL
The procedure for removing and installing the rear wheel de-
pends on the gearshift system installed (see chapter Gearshift).
