9. Ensure that the 1st gear is engaged.
10. Push the switchbox onto the right axle nut as shown (fig. BI).
11. Fasten the switchbox with the lower attachment nut
12. Set the gear shift (s. chapter Gearshift).

SETTING THE GEAR SHIFT
1. Use the turning rotary handle to shift from the 1st to the 4th
gear.
2. Check the current shifting setting by looking at the two yel-
low marks at the rear wheel hub (fig. BK). The gear shift is
set correctly when both marks are precisely opposite at the
same height.
3. Adjust the gear shift by turning the black setting screw on
the rotary handle of the gear shift (fig. BL).
4. Check the correct function of the gear shift by shifting
through the gears several times.
REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL
1. Use the turning rotary handle to shift to the 1st gear.
2. V-brake rim brake: Disconnect the brake cable
BM) in order to take out the wheel more easily later.
Hydraulic rim brake: Open the quick-clamping lever
BN) of the rim brake [OPEN].
3. Hydraulic rim brake: Take the brake cylinder
lever socket (fig. BN) in order to take out the wheel more

easily later.
4. Release the brake counter-holder on the left side of the
E-bike (fig. BO).

5. Release the axle nuts on both sides of the rear wheel with a
15 mm wrench.
6. Take the two axle nuts including the safety washers
BO) off the axle.
7. Pull out the rear wheel from the drop-out.
8. In order to release the rear wheel from the shift cable, turn the
circlip (fig. BO) by approx. 45° counter-clockwise. Now you can
disconnect the circlip and the actuating lever from the rear
wheel.
