HANDLEBAR
A-HEAD STEM
For the A-Head stem, the handlebar position, the handlebar inclination and, depending on
the model, the angle setting may be adjusted. The handlebar height, however, cannot be set.
SETTING THE POSITION
1. Loosen the lateral clamp screws
stem with a 4 or 5 mm hexagonal socket
wrench.
2. Align the handlebar.
3. Tighten the clamp screws again well (s. chapter
Torque specifications).
SETTING THE INCLINATION
1. First loosen the clamp spindle screw of the
handlebar sleeve
onal socket wrench.
2. Adjust the inclination angle of the handlebar.
3. Turn the handlebar attachments (e.g. brake le-
ver) back to the starting position.
4. Tighten the clamp spindle screw
again well (s. chapter Torque specifications).
In order to set the play in the steering, tighten
the upper setting screw
hexagonal socket wrench. The setting screw
should be tightened until the bearing is play-
free. It does not need to be tightened firmly nec-
essarily.
SET STEM ANGLE
1. Loosen the lateral clamp screw
a 5 or 6 mm hexagonal socket wrench respec-
tively.
2. Now adjust the desired angle at the stem.
3. Then tighten the clamp screw
according to the torque specification (s. chapter
Torque specifications).
