USB CHARGING SOCKET
• Do not use the USB charging socket when it is wet, in rain or snow, since this may cause
damage to the connected device or the E-Bike. The USB connection must then be com-
pletely closed with the protective cap. Danger of damage!
• Always read the operating instructions of the device you want to connect to the USB
WARNING
charging socket. This prevents wrong operation (e.g. when connecting), which may cause
damage as well.
• Only use standard-compatible USB-cables and cable/adapter combinations, since the
connected device or the USB charging socket may otherwise be damaged.
And it may also be impossible to plug in the USB cable then. Danger of damage!
• Do not apply any excessive force to the USB plug or when removing the USB cable. When
plugging in, check that the USB plug points in the proper direction and is not inserted in
the wrong direction or canted. Ensure that it is plugged in all the way. Danger of damage!
• Do not push any foreign bodies into the USB charging socket. Danger of damage!
The USB charging socket on the right side of the LCD control display can be used to operate
or charge most devices that can be supplied with power via USB (e.g. smartphones). The re-
chargeable battery of the E-bike must be inserted and sufficiently charged for this.
SWITCHING ON THE USB CHARGING SOCKET
1. Switch off the drive system (s. chapter Switching off the drive system).
2a. Open the protective cap of the USB charging socket at the LCD control display.
2b. Connect the the external unit to the USB charging socket via a USB-2.0 cable (MicroA/MicroB).
3. Switch the drive system back on (s. chapter Switching off the drive system).
