FOOT PEDAL

• Regularly check that the screw connection of the foot pedal is tight. The pedal arms
may otherwise come loose and the foot pedal, including the inner bearing, may be
damaged. Danger of damage and accidents!
DANGER
TIGHTENING THE FOOT PEDAL
1. If present, remove the cover cap on both sides
e.g. with a screwdriver.
2. Tighten the screw BGlow
with an 8 mm hexagon socket wrench or a special socket
acc. to the torque specification (s. chapter Torque specifi-
cations).
3. Push on the covering cap

GEARSHIFT

• Incorrectly installed wheels may impair braking and cycling performance. Danger of
accident!
• Tighten all screws and nuts that you loosened again well. Check that the safety washer
is placed correctly. The rear wheel may otherwise come loose during the ride! Perform

a careful test ride after installation. Danger of accident!
HUB GEAR
OPERATING THE GEARSHIFT
To shift a gear, you need to turn the shifting rotating grip. Stop pedalling briefly while shifting
gears to permit the gear to shift.
