SETTING THE PRESSURE POINT/COMPENSATING BRAKE LIN-
ING WEAR
You can adjust the pressure point of the brake at the brake
lever. This work must be performed to compensate for brake
lining wear.
1. Turn the screw
(fig. AK) in clockwise to bring the brake lin-

ings closer to the rim flank. The pressure point at the brake
lever now starts earlier. You may need a Torx 25 wrench for
this work.
EXCHANGING THE BRAKE PADS
Exchange the MAGURA brake pads at once when the depth of
the groove on the brake lining is less than 1 mm (fig. AL):
1. Turn the screw back counter-clockwise
2. Push the lever
(fig. AM) of the quick-clamp down to open it

(OPEN).
3. Take the brake cylinder

4. (If necessary), remove the wheel.
5. Pull off the worn brake pads.
6. Clean the brake pad holder.
7. Insert the new brake pads
(fig. AN).
8. Install the wheel again if you removed it.
9. Push the brake cylinder
AM).
10. Close the quick-clamping lever
(CLOSE). If the lever closes too easily, the quick-clamping
screw must be adjusted.
SETTING THE QUICK-CLAMP
1. Push the lever
(fig. AM) of the quick-clamp down to open it (OPEN).

2. Turn the quick-clamping screw in 1/4 turn clockwise.
3. Close the quick-clamping lever
4. Repeat the process if the lever still closes too easily.
