Possible cause
Remote switch input activated, but
remote switch not connected.
Remote switch connected, but contact
not closed.
Short circuit has been generated.
The battery is defective or significantly
sulfated.
The battery voltage is too low (<8 V).
Insulation faults, breaks or loose con-
nections at the live cables.
The input voltage and input frequency
are not within the required tolerances
or are too unstable.
The charging program is not set cor-
rectly for the battery used.
The charging current is not set correctly. ➤ Check the setting of the charging current
Excessive voltage loss in the connec-
tion cables or at the terminals.
Too many loads connected.

Suggested remedy
➤ Connect the remote switch or deactivate
the remote switch input.
➤ Check if remote switch contact is closed.
The device fuse must be replaced by an autho-
rized service agent after it has been triggered
by excess current.
➤ Replace the battery.
➤ Charge the battery.
➤ Check live cables for insulation faults,
breaks or loose connections.
➤ Ensure that the input voltage and input fre-
quency are within the required tolerances
(see chapter "Technical Data" on
page 33).
➤ Check the setting of the charging program
(see chapter "Setting the charging pro-
gram" on page 23).

rent" on page 24).
➤ Check the connections.
➤ Check the cable cross-sections and
lengths.
➤ Check the voltages directly at the termi-
nals.
➤ Reduce the connected loads.
