REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL

1. Release the axle nuts
wheel with a 15 mm wrench.
2. Remove the axle nuts and the safety discs, if present.
3. Pull out the rear wheel from the drop-out.

INSTALLING THE REAR WHEEL

1. Place the chain or belt on the pinion.
2. Place the rear wheel into the drop-out. Ensure that the wheel
is placed straight in the holder and that the chain or belt is
appropriately tensioned. (also see chapter on Chain or drive
belt).
3. If your model has one, fit the safety washers
the axle so that the interlock is in the drop-out.
4. Attach the wheel with the axle nuts on both sides with a 15
mm wrench according to the torque specifications (see chap-
ter Torque specifications).

SETTING THE GEAR SHIFT
1. Use the turning rotary handle to shift from the 1st to the
2nd gear.
2. Check that the yellow mark
two limitation lines
3. If the gear shift must be adjusted, release the counter-nut
first (fig. AY).

4. Then set the gear shift with the setting screw
5. Tighten the counter-nut
6. Check the correct function of the gear shift by shifting
through the gears several times.
REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL
1. Use the shifting lever to put in the 1st gear.
2. Release the attachment screw
3. Remove the switchbox.
4. Pull the switching pin that you can now see from the axle bore.
5. Release the screw of the brake counter-holder
(fig. AW) on both sides of the rear
