MECHANICAL DISC BRAKE
• The maximum brake output is only achieved after a few brake processes with a new
brake disc or brake linings! Danger of accident!
• The brake disc will grow very hot when braking and may cause burns. The disc edges
may also be very sharp and cause cutting injury. Therefore, do not touch them while the
DANGER
disc is hot or turning. Danger of accident!
SETTING THE DISC BRAKE
CENTRING THE BRAKE CALLIPER
Align the disc brakes so that the bake disc runs
centred through the gap in the brake calliper.
1. Turn the red setting wheel
track of the brake calliper.
INNER BRAKE LINING
The distance between the brake disc and the
brake lining is adjusted by the lining plate
AL) on the rear of the brake calliper. The distance
of the inner brake lining from the brake disc should
be set to be as small as possible. The brake disc
should not drag, however.
1. Loosen the screw

OUTER BRAKE LINING
The outer brake lining is adjusted via the pulling ten-
sion of the brake cable.
1. Loosen the screw
