SETTING THE HEIGHT

• Pull out the seat post at least to the mark of the mini-
mum insertion depth. The mark must not be visible.
Danger of break and accidents! No warranty if this is
not observed!

The saddle height should be set so that the knee is not
stretched all the way when cycling while the tips of the feet
can reach the ground (figure P).
1. Loosen the clamp of the seat post. For this, use a 5-mm/6-
mm hexagonal socket wrench

2. Adjust the desired saddle height. Pull out the seat post no
more than to the mark.
3. Tighten the screw according to the torque specification (s.
chapter torque specifications).
If the seat post is fastened with a quick clamp, proceed as
described in the chapter on the quick clamp for releasing or
closing it.
SET THE INCLINATION AND POSITION
The saddle position (distance from the handlebar) and the
saddle inclination can be set individually. Inclination of the
saddle should be about horizontal. Since the "correct" sad-
dle inclination is, however purely subjective, it may differ
from cyclist to cyclist.
Depending on the seat post and saddle used, the inclination or
position of the saddle can be set differently:
