LIGHTING
• Always switch on the lighting in bad visibility conditions! Consider that not only you will
see better when the lighting is on, but that other road users will be able to see you bet-
ter as well. Danger of accident!
• N ever switch on the lamps during the ride; stop briefly for this. Danger of accident!
DANGER
• Check on every ride with the lighting switched on that the light beam is set correctly. It
must in no case be too high, since you may then blind other road users. Danger of ac-
cident!
• Lighting on bicycles must be applied with the ABG test sign (K~) in Germany and cor-
respond to the StVZO. Unapproved lighting may be too weak in its performance or
may not work reliably. Danger of accident!
SETTING THE HEADLIGHT
AF
Set the headlight as shown in fig. AF. Ensure that the light beam is not too high since other
road users might otherwise be blinded by it.
PARKING LIGHT FUNCTION
The headlights and tail lights with a parking light function will continue to be lit for several
minutes when standing.
HUB DYNAMO
If the bicycle has a hub dynamic, you can switch the lamps on or off with the switch at the
headlight.
