SPRING FORK • DAMPER (SHOCK)
LOCKOUT
Spring forks with a lockout function can completely
block the deflection. The lockout function helps
specifically if you ride a mountain bike on asphalt-
ed, well-paved paths.
SWITCHING THE DEFLECTION ON/OFF
You can block the deflection at the setting wheel of
the triple clamp (fig. AC). The sight window

DAMPER (SHOCK)

The damper (or shock) increases cycling comfort by deflecting and dampening hard impacts
and irregularities of the ground. The dampers can be adjusted to the weight of the cyclist and
the terrain.
