Analog output of the electrode force (X2, output)

For information on whether the function is available in your unit,
please refer to the type-specific manual.
Connection: to X2; STKK, grid 3.5 mm, 5-pole,
max. 1.5 mm
Mating connector is comprised in the delivery.
Cable length: max. 50 m at 0.5 mm
max. 100 m at 0.75 mm
Cable type: shielded
(e.g.: NFL 13, Metrofunk; LiYCY)
An analog output signal is available at X2, pin 1, which can be used to
drive a force generating component.
The type of output signal can alternatively be programmed (BOS theme
"Programming", "General" tab, "Pressure output mode" parameter) as
• Voltage signal (0 to +10V; max. 20mA),
• Current signal 0 to 20mA or
• Current signal 4 to 20 mA (at max. 500 ohms).
How the actuating variable is converted into electrode force is
dependent on the actuators used.
The „force calibration" function and/or "conversion factor " (characte­
ristic slope) and "zero shift" (Y characteristic shift) parameters are
available for adjustment.
The output signal at X2 is normally output immediately after a wel­
ding program has been selected, rather than after program start! For
deviations from this, please refer to the type-specific manual.
