Connection for programming terminal

X1 (V24/RS232 interface, sub D)
" Attach the cables for U2 and V2 with aluminum brackets and always
guide the cables - if necessary - through the housing metal together
(because of inductive temperature rise).
The position of the connections is indicated in Section 7.1.1 from
page 342.
Connect terminal U2 at the inverter to connection U at the trans­

former.
" Connect terminal V2 at the inverter to connection V at the trans­
former.
" For master slave operation, please also refer to section 13.3 starting
on page 420.
Additional information on transformer connection (parallel connec­
tion of several transformers, sensors, etc.) is provided in the manual
"MF welding transformers, Technical information" (cf. page 233).
Point-to-point connection of the programming terminal (PC/laptop
computer with BOS software for administration, diagnosis, archiving,
backup).
The optional Ethernet module can be used for networking, refer to
page 282.
