13.2.1

Installation/Removal of AnyBus module

Installation
For installation, you need
- AnyBus module
- screw driver, suitable for Torx 8.
The following figures show an AnyBus module with an Ethernet port,
but the handling is the same for other AnyBus modules.
For installation, proceed as follows:
Make sure that the 24 V logic supply of the weld timer has been swit­

ched off.
Pull off blind cover (1) towards you.

The mother board (2) and pin connector support (3) become visible.
Insert the module along the edge (4) - pressing it slightly to the right

(5) - backwards until resistance can be felt (6).
The module is first inserted into the timer's internal pin connector
support (3) by this process.
Now, a 1-2 mm gap (7) remains between the timer's front panel and
the module's front panel.

Press the module to the left (8) and push it backward until the stop is

reached (9).
The module is properly fixed to the timer's internal mother board (2)
via the peg (10) on the left by this process.
The original gap between the timer's front panel and the module's
front panel (7) must no longer be present afterwards!
