Dismantling and replacement

Dangerous electrical voltage
Possibility of cardiac arrhythmia, burns, shock!
Use suitable, insulated tools for all work on electrically conductive

parts.
" Never interpret the extinguishing of all LEDs on the product as
zero voltage!
Please note that the voltage inside the unit directly after switching
"
off the mains supply has not been reduced to a harmless level yet.
" Do not touch either mains or transformer connections for at least 5
minutes after switching the mains supply off.
" Use suitable measuring equipment and an appropriate measu­
ring method to ensure that the unit is de-energized before carrying
out any work on the unit.
Do not ever open the housing of the product.

It may only be opened in special cases after consultation with us
and only with our written permission.
Heavy loads and sharp metal edges
Higher risk of injuries through lifting of excessive weights, bruises
cutting!
" When you plan and perform the work, please always note the
weight of the product (refer to technical data) and use appropriate
lifting and transportation tools, if necessary.
" Wear appropriate working clothes and use suitable protective
equipment (e.g. protective helmet/shoes, protective gloves).
Please also note the instructions on installation and assembly in
"
Section 2.6.3 from page 244 as well as Section 3.2 from page 256.
" Installation and assembly are reserved to qualified personnel.
Make a backup of necessary weld timer data - if necessary. The
„Backup" functionality is available within the BOS user interface for
this purpose.
The procedure is described in detail in the online help of the BOS
(keyword „Backup" or „Timer reference backup").
Switch off the power supply (mains) and secure the power supply

against unauthorized/unintended reclosing.
The DC LINK VOLTAGE LED is extinguished.
