7. Fill the tyre with air or nitrogen until it has settled on the rim (see D 13).
8. Check in a water bath as to whether the valve is leakproof (see D 14).
9. Fill the tyre at the pressure stipulated by the vehicle manufacturer (see D 15).
10. Balance the tyre.
11. Once you have mounted the tyres, execute the wheel sensor teaching
programme.
What's up
When the ignition is switched on, the
LCD display does not come on.
After switching on, you receive "SCH" on
the display.

What to do
Check the fuse in the red wire and the tap
of the orange wire.
Execute the teaching programme again.
Check the antennas for damage.
There is a strong radio source nearby,
e.g. suspension alignment equipment
suppressing the radio signals.
Switch off the radio source.
Radio transmission is briefly disturbed by
radio influences. Should this occur often,
check the antennas for damage.
Change the antenna installation position,
so that the antennas are screened against
the opposing tyre by metallic components.
