USING THE SCRUBBER-DRYER - USO DE LA FREGADORA-SECADORA

CAUTION!
IN REAS WITH AN AMBIENT TEMPERATURE ABOVE 43°C, THE
MACHINE SHOULD NOT BE USED.
IN AREAS WITH AMBIENT TEMPERATURE BELOW THE FRE-
EZING THRESHOLD OF 0°, THE WASHING FUNCTION MUST
NOT BE USED.
Operation
Depending on the conditions of the fl oor to be cleaned, there are two operating modes possible:
For "LIGHT DIRT" fl oors:
Follow the instructions described in chapter "STARTING UP THE SCRUBBER-DRYER" (Fig. 5) in the order
below:
(A) - Start the electrical system.
(B) - Enable brush rotation.
(C) - Open and set the amount of the cleaning solution on the brush.
(D) - Switch on the suction motor.
(E) - Lower the squeegee.
(G) - Drive the machine forward.

CAUTION!
WE RECOMMEND USING THE ELECTRIC DRIVE OF THE SCRUB-
BER-DRYER FOR HORIZONTAL OR UPHILL TRANSFERS ONLY.
TO INCREASE THE MACHINE OPERATING TIME AND OBTAIN AN
EFFICIENT ENERGY SAVING, WE RECOMMEND NOT USING THE
ELECTRIC DRIVE DURING THE WASHING PHASE. A CORRECT
BRUSH ADJUSTMENT HELPS ACHIEVE A PROPER AND PROGRES-
SIVE FORWARD TRAVEL OF THE SCRUBBER-DRYER.
For "HEAVY DIRT" fl oors:
Follow the instructions described above in the order below:
A, B, C, G, . Distribute the cleaning solution on the fl oor and leave for a few minutes, then repeat ope-
rations A, B, G.

CAUTION!
THIS TYPE OF OPERATION MUST BE PERFORMED IN AREAS WHE-
RE ACCESS TO UNAUTHORISED PERSONNEL IS PROHIBITED; IN-
DICATE THESE ZONES WITH APPROPRIATE SIGNS.
Then perform the last FINISHING treatment in this order: A, B, D, E, G.
Working method:
(Fig. A) Start cleaning and move forward with the right-hand side of the scrubber-dryer close to the
wall (or shelving).
(Fig. B) Clean fi rst along the walls, and then with subsequent treatments towards the centre of the
room, working anti-clockwise all the time (turn to the left). At each "treatment", overlap the brushes
over the previous brush path by 3/5 cm.
(Fig. C) Turn off the solution tap about 1 metre before making a tight bend (1).
Turn the tap back on straight after the bend (2).
Stopping the brush rotation, the suction system and the cleaning solution fl ow
Push button 1 (fi g.1) to stop the brush rotation.
Push button 2 (fi g.1) to stop suction.
Use lever 20 (fi g.1) to stop the water fl ow on the brush.
Turn switch 4 (fi g. 1) to "0" to switch-off the scrubber-dryer (for battery-operated machines with/without
drive system).
Disconnect the 230V.AC cable 16 (fi g.1) from the power outlet (for 230V.AC cable-operated machines)
End of work
Lift the squeegee, lift the front part of the machine and then reach an allocated drainage area to per-
form the following operations:
• Unhook the drain tube 12 (fi g.12) and empty the recovery tank 24 (fi g.1).

EN ZONAS CON UNA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE SUPERIOR A
43°C, NO SE DEBE UTILIZAR LA MÁQUINA.
EN ZONAS CON UNA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE INFERIOR AL
UMBRAL DE CONGELACIÓN DE 0°, NO DEBE UTILIZARSE LA
FUNCIÓN DE LAVADO.
Uso de la máquina
En función de las condiciones del suelo se adoptarán dos procedimientos diferentes:
Con un suelo POCO SUCIO:
Proceder con las operaciones descritas en el capítulo «PUESTA EN MARCHA DE LA FREGA-
DORA-SECADORA» (Fig.5) en este orden:
(A) Encendido del sistema eléctrico.
(B) - Rotación del cepillo.
(C) - Apertura y regulación de la solución detergente en el cepillo.
(D) Accionamiento de la aspiración.
(E) - Descenso de la boquilla de secado.
(G) - Desplazamiento.

¡CUIDADO!
SE RECOMIENDA USAR LA TRACCIÓN ELÉCTRICA DE LA FREGA-
DORA ÚNICAMENTE PARA LOS DESPLAZAMIENTOS EN SUELOS
HORIZONTALES O HACIA ARRIBA. PARA AUMENTAR LA AUTO-
NOMÍA DE LA MÁQUINA Y CONSEGUIR UN BUEN AHORRO ENER-
GÉTICO SE RECOMIENDA NO USAR LA TRACCIÓN ELÉCTRICA
DURANTE LA FASE DE LAVADO. EL AJUSTE CORRECTO DE LOS
CEPILLOS FACILITA EL DESPLAZAMIENTO CORRECTO Y GRA-
DUAL DE LA FREGADORA.
Con un suelo MUY SUCIO:
Proceder con las operaciones anteriormente descritas en este orden:
A, B, C, G,. Aplicar el detergente sobre el suelo y dejar actuar durante unos minutos, a conti-
nuación repetir las operaciones A, B, G.

¡CUIDADO!
ESTE TIPO DE OPERACIÓN DEBERÁ LLEVARSE A CABO EN ZO-
NAS DONDE ESTÁ PROHIBIDO EL PASO A PERSONAS AJENAS AL
TRABAJO. ADEMÁS, ESTAS ZONAS DEBERÁN SEÑALARSE CON
LETREROS.
Por último se deberá dar la última aplicación de ACABADO siguiendo este orden: A, B, D, E, G.
Método de trabajo:
(Fig. A) Empezar a limpiar y seguir con el lado derecho de la fregadora-secadora acerca de la pared
(o estantería).
(Fig. B) Seguir limpiando primero alrededor de las paredes y después, en las aplicaciones siguientes,
hacia el centro del local, siempre en sentido antihorario (girando hacia la izquierda). Después de
cada aplicación, volver a pasar con los cepillos por encima del área anterior con una superposición
de unos 3/5 cm.
(Fig. C) Cerrar el grifo de la solución aproximadamente 1 metro antes de tomar una curva cerrada (1).
Una vez pasada la curva (2), volver a abrir el grifo.

Interrupción de la rotación del cepillo, aspiración y cierre del agua
Presionar el pulsador 1 (fi g.1) para interrumpir la rotación del cepillo
Presionar el pulsador 2 (fi g.1) para interrumpir la aspiración.
Accionar la palanca 20 (fi g.1) para interrumpir el fl ujo de agua al cepillo.
En las máquinas alimentadas por batería con/sin tracción, apagar la fregadora-secadora con
el interruptor 4 (fi g.1) en «0».
En las máquinas alimentadas mediante cable de corriente alterna 230V, desconectar el
cable 16 (fi g.1) de la toma de corriente.
Después de usar la máquina
Elevar la boquilla de secado, levantar la parte delantera de la máquina, llevar la máquina al
lugar dedicado al vertido de agua sucia y actuar como se describe a continuación:
• Retirar el tubo de vertido 12 (fi g.1) y vaciar el depósito de recuperación 24 (fi g.1).
