(A) Starting up the electrical system
For battery-operated machines, turn the ignition key 1 to pos. "I" to power the electrical system.
For 230V.AC. cable-operated machines, connect the plug of the cable 2 to the power outlet. The
red led 3 placed on control panel will show that the system has now been powered.
(B) Brush rotation
Press button 11 marked with the "brush" symbol and located on the control panel to:
• Enable the rotation of the brush and the solenoid valve (if provided) to send water to
the brush.
(C) - Opening and adjusting of the cleaning solution on the brush.
Lift lever 4 to dose the quantity of cleaning solution.
Move the lever to adjust the amount of detergent solution required to wet the fl oor.
Keep in mind that the amount of cleaning solution varies according to the fl oor type and the
machine drive speed, hence do not wet beyond the width of the brush.
(D) Enabling suction
Push button 5 marked with the "fan" symbol and located on the control panel to:
• Activate the suction motor.
(E) Lowering/raising the squeegee
Lower lever 6 to move the squeegee down, lift the lever to raise it.
(F) Brush traction on the fl oor and machine direction.
NOTE!
THIS ADJUSTMENT HAS ALREADY BEEN SET BY THE MA-
NUFACTURER OF THE SCRUBBER-DRYER.
Follow the instructions below if the brush traction on the fl oor and the machine direction re-
quire adjustment:
• Loosen screw 7 and lift lever 8 to increase the brush traction, or lower the lever to decre-
ase it. Once the adjustment is complete, tighten screw 7.
• Knob 9 controls the machine direction.
(G) Machine forward drive
• For machines with drive system, use levers 10 to enable the forward movement. The bru-
sh must be rotating (point B) and lowered to the fl oor.
• For machines without drive system and 230V.AC cable-operated machines, the operator
pushes forward the machine while the drive is generated by the rotation of the brush
on the fl oor.
(H) Braking
Push button 11 to stop the brush rotation.
Lower the brush to keep the machine braked and parked on the fl oor.
