Initial Operation with Electric Back Angle Adjustment
CAUTION
Risk of accidents and injury due to incorrect backrest
assembly. Make sure that the locking mechanism engages
with the cross bolt. Verify that the cross bolt and locking
mechanism are securely in place.
Folding up the backrest:
1. Fold the backrest up.
2. Insert the cross bolt at the end of the drive unit into the
holder.
3. Press the lever down to have the locking mechanism en-
gage with the cross bolt.

WARNING
Risk of accident and injury due to improper use for
transportation in motor vehicles for the disabled. For
the time being, Ottobock have not yet released the C2000
power wheelchair for use as a seat for transportation of
the user in motor vehicles for the disabled! Until the power
wheelchair has been released for use as a seat for trans-
portation in motor vehicles for the disabled, wheelchair
users must always transfer to the seats installed in the mo-
tor vehicle with the corresponding vehicle restraint sys-
tems! Non-observance of these instructions could lead to
injury of the wheelchair user, as well as of all other pas-
sengers in the motor vehicle, in case of an accident.
