Risk of damage due to uncontrolled movements. When
jacking up, secure the power wheelchair to prevent it from
slipping or tilting to the side by placing a suitable base un-
der the drive unit support.
INFORMATION
The functionality and operating safety of the power wheel-
chair must be verified by an authorised specialist at least
once per year.

Piston rods do not require lubrication. They are mainte-
nance-free.
INFORMATION
Defective batteries must be disposed of properly in ac-
cordance with country-specific regulations.

Requirements for the User

CAUTION
Risk of accidents and injury due to improper operation.
The power wheelchair may only be operated by a properly
trained user. For this purpose, the user and any attendants
must receive instruction in the use of the power wheelchair
from specialists trained and authorised by Ottobock. The
user must have read and understood all the information in
the instructions for use. The wheelchair may not be oper-
ated in cases of exhaustion or under the influence of alco-
hol or medications.
The user must not have any mental limitations which can
temporarily or permanently restrict attentiveness and judg-
ment.
