WARNING
Risk of accidents due to tipping during operation. Reduce
the driving speed when driving downhill (e. g. set it to speed
level 1). When driving on inclines or slopes, it is not permissi-
ble to negotiate obstacles. Avoid getting into and out of the
power wheelchair on inclines and slopes.
Before driving up slopes or over obstacles, a tilted seat must
be lowered to its basic position, the seat height adjustment
must be in its lowest position and the back must be brought
into the upright position. It is advisable to slightly tilt the seat
to the rear when driving downhill.
Driving over obstacles such as steps or curbs is only allowed
at reduced speed (max. 3 km/h). Always approach obstacles
at a right angle and cross over them without stopping.
WARNING
Risk of tipping when driving on inappropriate ground. Driv-
ing on very smooth areas (e. g. icy surfaces) or extremely
rough terrain (e. g. broken rock or rubble) is not permitted.
WARNING
Risk of tipping when using lifting platforms. When using
lifting platforms, lifts, busses or trains, switch off the controls
of the power wheelchair and lock the brake.
C2000
WARNING
Risk of tipping due to changes in the centre of gravity.
The effects of changes in the centre of gravity on the behav-
iour of the power wheelchair on inclines, side hills, or when
crossing obstacles must be tested with the secure support
of an attendant prior to initial use.
WARNING
Risk of accidents and injury due to incorrect lifting. At-
tendants may only lift the power wheelchair by the frame
parts, but never by the footrest(s) and/or armrests.
WARNING
Risk of pinching or crushing in the electric seat adjust-
ment range. When operating the seat height adjustment,
back angle adjustment (optional) or seat tilt (optional), there
are pinch and shear points in the area between the seat
frame and wheelchair frame caused by the construction. All
attendants must be informed about this. To avoid injuries,
always make sure that no parts of the body, e. g. hands or
feet, get into the danger zone, that no interfering objects,
e. g. clothing, or obstacles are within the danger zone and
that no unauthorised persons are present in the danger
zone.
