Transport and Storage

When transporting the B600 power wheelchair in a vehicle, ensure the wheelchair
control is switched off and that the automatic brake has not been disengaged. The
wheelchair must then be fully secured by means of tension straps.
The frame of the B600 power wheelchair has four fixing eyelets for attachment of the
straps.
Wheelchair users must transfer to the seats installed in the motor vehicle and use the
corresponding vehicle restraint systems, because this is the only way to ensure
optimal protection of the passengers in case of an accident.
For the time being, Otto Bock has not yet released the B600 power wheelchair for use
as a seat for transportation in motor vehicles.
The release is currently being prepared, however.

To reduce the folding size for transport of the wheelchair, fold down the backrest and
remove the armrests and footrests (fig. 1).
For further details please refer to the section "Setting and Adjustment Possibilities".
The temperature during transport and storage must be between -10 °C and +40 °C.
