3.6.3 Connecting the Berchtold ChromoVision HD SD-SDI or
ChromoVision Full HD Camera System to SDC3
1. Camera System CCU, DB9 Connector- Connect the male end of the DB9 cable to the
Camera Control Unit.
2. EDAM, DB9 Connector - Connect the female end of the DB9 cable to the EDAM
adapter.
3. EDAM, USB Type B Connector - Connect the Type B end of the USB cable to the
EDAM adapter.
4. SDC3, USB Type A Connector - Connect the Type A end of the USB cable to one of the
Device ports on the SDC3.
• The EDAM LED shows solid green for less than 15 seconds while the device
connects to the SDC3.
• The connection is complete when the LED indicator light is blinking green.
