For safety reasons, during the working operations, in the zone near the electric equipment, isn't permitted the
presence of other people besides the operator.
In derogation to this prescription it is allowed the maintenance personnel presence expressly authorized from
the production responsible.
The personnel employed to the regulation/registration, to the use and to the maintenance must
immediately suspend the activities and inform the employer or the department responsible or the preferred if
some defects or functioning anomalies.
In case the user hasn't expert and warned personnel, he must order the activities in object to a competent
society with this aim, as for example the electric equipment supplier.
4.2. ENVIRONMENTS AND WORK PLACES
The work environment must respect the requirements of the directive 89/654/CEE. In the work area the extraneous objects
must not be present.
The employer, in accordance with the directive 89/391/CEE, concerning the measures actuation aimed to promote the
improvement of the workers safety and health during the work, must provide to eliminate or reduce the residual risks showed
as foreseen in the present manual.
4.3. WARNINGS ABOUT THE RESIDUAL RISKS
The employer must provide to train the personnel on the accidents risks, on the safety devices and on the
general rules about the anti accidental foreseen from the community directives and from the country legislation
where the electric equipment is installed.
It is so necessary that the use, the maintenances performed from the user and the cleaning are entrusted to
trained and competent personnel.
It is the employer responsibility checks that the relative instructions have been adequately understood. When
necessary, it is besides responsibility of the user:
1. to activate a formation/training course, eventually in cooperation with the electric equipment
manufacturer, so that the operators and the maintenance men are adequately trained on the risks in
general and on the residual risks showed in the present manual,
2. the individual protection means supplying in conformance with what showed in the directive
89/656/CEE and the successive amendments and updating and the information on the permitted uses.
RESIDUAL RISK DUE TO THE NOISE
The electric equipment produces, as from performed experimental tests, a continue acoustic power level
equivalent weighted A inferior to 70 dB.
To avoid offence dangers to the ears for lacerating or insistent noises, the operator, besides to be adequately
informed and trained, during the electric equipment functioning must always use appropriate protection
device for the ears, as for example caps or protective stoppers or similar personal earphone protections.
RESIDUAL RISK DUE TO THE CONTROL/CHECK SYSTEMS CONNECTED TO THE SAFETY
It is signaled that the safety functions and the control/check systems connected to the safety are produced in
conformance with the safety category 1; nevertheless for the damage effect a malfunctioning can be present,
or a residual risk due to a lacked stop, in accordance with what foreseen.
From the electric equipment stop control activation or for the feeding electric energy absence, both the operator
both the maintenance man, before accessing to the electric equipment moving parts, must check their
effective stop, checking visually from the anterior zone
RISK DUE TO THE POSSIBLE SLIDING AND/OR FALLING
To avoid, during the electric equipment normal use and during the maintenance interventions, the sliding
and/or falling dangers on the reference level (trampling), the operator and the maintenance man, to be
adequately informed and trained, must always use feet appropriate protection devices, as for example anti
sliding shoes, resistant and suitable to the particular nature of the risk.
The user must however maintain cleaned the trampling level on which the operator and the maintenance man
move and it must be without substances that facilitate the sliding, as for example liquids or any type of granular
or dusty substance.
