Code Description
This means that the
controller failed to
restore PLC parame-
ters from the EEP-
ROM and that de-
fault values has been
loaded instead.
0x13 This error is dis-
played when the A/D
zero point (no torque
applied) has drifted
too far from nominal
zero point of 2048.
The allowed devia-
tion is configurable
in ToolsTalk.
0x14 The serial number of
the connected tool
does not match the
tool that the con-
troller was config-
ured to operate with.
0x15 The temperature of
the tool has ex-
ceeded the limits that
are configured in
ToolsTalk.

Possible cause(s)
1) The controller
software has been
updated and EEP-
ROM structure has
been altered in the
new version. (This is
normal behaviour
and not an error).
2) The EEPROM is
not working cor-
rectly.
1) A non-transducer-
ized tool is con-
nected to a controller
configured to work
with transduzericed
tools.
2) The torque trans-
ducer is defective.
3) The power supply
is defective.
4) The tool cable is
defective.
5) The controller is
defective.
1) The wrong tool/
controller is con-
nected.
2) The tool cable is
defective.
3) The ID chip of the
connected tool is de-
fective.
1) The temperature
has exceeded accept-
able levels.
2) Temperature sen-
sor is defective

Solution(s)
1) Restore the EEP-
ROM contents from
the parameter file
that was saved prior
to upgrading the
software, i.e. reload
G04 file.
2) Replace the con-
troller.
1) Configure the
controller correctly
for this type of tool.
2) Replace the tool
or if possible the
transducer.
3) Replace power
supply.
4) Replace tool ca-
ble.
5) Replace con-
troller.
1) Connect the tool/
controller calibrated
with this controller/
tool.
2) Replace the tool
cable.
3) Replace the ID
chip or tool.
4) Request a new li-
cense code.
1) Let the tool cool
down, the error will
automatically clear
itself when the tem-
perature drops.
2) Replace tempera-
ture sensor or tool.
