MicroTorque Controller G4

The display shows the driver state and the parameter values while setting. It

gives detailed information during the screw fastening procedure, e.g. search

mode and fastening operation and the program selected are displayed together

with torque and angle measurement data. After a process is finished, the results

are shown. The displayed information can be configured using the ToolsTalk

MT software.

During programming, the display shows parameter values. The status indicator

is green when ready, yellow while busy and red if an error occurs.

message due to exceeded torque. The additional infor-

mation is related to the screw counting and sequenc-

ing function if enabled.

Pressing the jog dial once activates the main menu of

the spindle. Scroll through the menu turning the jog

dial and activate the selected item by pressing it

again. The item for program selection is only visible

if there is no password protection for the program

change active or if the password is entered correctly,

and if changing the program via jog dial is enabled.

By selecting Switch off/Reset, the controller is either

switched into Stand by Mode or a Reset is per-

formed depending on Control Auto-ON setting. For

The system status page shows information such as se-

rial numbers of spindle, spindle and controller, spin-

dle temperature, supply voltage, transducer supply

voltage (12 V DC), and the values from the analog-to-

digital converters for the torque measurement channel

(transducer or current).

Select Program selection option to show and select a

program or a product type.
