11.1.3 Machine settings menu
1. Tap the symbol on the first menu level.
 The second level will be called up.
2. Tap the symbol on the second menu level.
 The third level will be displayed for configuring
the machine settings.

Symbols Description
After a tap on the symbol, the printer and the
associated operating modes will be activated or
deactivated.
* Accessory for the MT ZERO 6 Touch.
Red: deactivated
Green: activated
After a tap on the symbol, the brake for locking
the flange and wheel will be activated or
deactivated.
Green: brake activated (default)
Red: brake deactivated
After a tap on the symbol, the automatic
acquisition of the dimensions and the balancing
program by the electronic rim distance gauge and
the sonar probe will be activated or deactivated.
After a tap on the symbol, the option for acquiring
the dimensions and the balancing program can be
selected by the following methods:
R Locking the electronic rim distance gauge for a
waiting period of 1 second.
R Pushing up the pedal. In this phase, the
locking/release of the pneumatic flange will be
inactive.
After a tap on the symbol, the modus for attaching
the adhesive balance weights can be selected:
R in the 12-o'clock position with the electronic
rim distance gauge. The laser indicators (if
present) will be inactive.
R in the 6-o'clock position with the laser
indicator. Positioning by electronic rim distance
gauge will be inactive.
After a tap on the symbol, the automatic selection
of the balancing program will be activated or
deactivated.
Green: automatic selection active (default)
Red: automatic selection inactive
After a tap on the symbol, the function for the
automatic acquisition of the number of ASD
spokes will be activated or deactivated.

Symbols Description
After the symbol has been selected, the menu for
setting resolutions and units will be displayed
(see the "Resolutions and units settings menu"
section).
3. Set the machine according to the applicable
requirements.

For some parameters, access is provided to a special
menu on the fourth level described in the below
sections.

To close the menus and return to the operating
screens, tap the
Resolutions and units settings menu
1. Tap the symbol on the third menu level.
 The fourth level for setting resolutions and units
will be shown.
Symbols Description
After a tap on the symbol, display in grams (g) or
ounces (oz) can be selected.
The selected parameter appears in white.
After a tap on the symbol, weight resolution in 1 g
/ 0.05 oz or 5 g / 0.25 oz can be selected.
The selected parameter appears in white.
Small-value suppression:
Entry of weight value below which the value "0" is
to be displayed.
After a tap on the symbol, the function for
optimizing static and dynamic imbalance (OSD)
will be activated or deactivated.
Green: OSD activated (default)
Red: OSD deactivated
Setting the tolerance for dynamic residual
imbalance with activated OSD function.
If the function is inactive, the symbol cannot be
selected.
