See the section "Machine settings menu" to activate
the function for attaching the adhesive balance
weights with the aid of the rim-distance gauge.

The laser indicator, if present, is disabled.

The wheel must be positioned prior to attachment
of the weight.
1. Insert the adhesive balance weight of the value
required for balancing into the associated mount on
the electronic rim distance gauge.
2. Remove the electronic rim distance gauge towards
the balancing position.
 The screen for fastening the adhesive balance
weight on the first balancing plane opens.
 The region for attaching the adhesive balance
weight and the balance weight itself are shown in
yellow.

3. Position the rim-distance gauge in the region for
attaching the adhesive balance weight and wait for
the audible confirmation signal.
 The electronic rim distance gauge will be locked
in that position.
 The weight symbol is now green instead of yellow.

4. Turn the electronic rim distance gauge, and attach
the balance weight by pushing firmly to make it
adhere properly.

5. Place the rim-distance gauge in its resting position.
 The balancing screen appears.
6. Display the second balancing plane to proceed with
wheel positioning.
7. Insert the adhesive balance weight of the value
required for balancing into the associated mount on
the electronic rim distance gauge.
8. Remove the electronic rim distance gauge towards
the balancing position.
 The screen for fastening the adhesive balance
weight on the second balancing plane opens.
 The region for attaching the adhesive balance
weight and the balance weight itself are shown in
yellow.
