Operating the lighting
Identification Function
After the symbol is pressed, the device that
illuminates the inside of the rim to provide
better viewing during the procedures is
activated/deactivated.
Green background: Lighting on
No background: Lighting off
Calling up the "Print" function (optional)
Symbols Function
After a tap on the symbol, the screen with the
"Print" function and the creation of balancing
reports will be shown.

Calling up the "SPLIT" program
Symbols Function
After a tap the symbol, the "SPLIT" program for
splitting up the balance weights behind the spokes
will be called up.

"START" for start activation
Symbols Function
After the symbol has been pressed with the
protective hood lowered, the start for the
imbalance measurement will be activated.

This function is used if a start is to be activated and
the protective hood has already been lowered during
the preceding steps.

8.11.2 Positioning the wheel
With automatic positioning

For certain markets, some versions of the wheel
balancing machine are equipped with an automatic
wheel positioning and securing system for attaching
the balance weights. With those versions, the
machine will position the wheel automatically and
the operator need only attach the balance weights.

After the start of the imbalance measurement, the
flange will slow to count the spokes (this function is
active by default) and to position itself on the first
balancing plane.

Always make sure the rotation of the wheel is not
impaired by tools or other objects.
1. The wheel will automatically position itself on the
first balancing plane at low speed.
 As soon as the correct position for attaching
the balance weight has been reached, the refer-
ence mark on the screen will position itself at the
12-o'clock position.
 The balance weight to be attached will be indi-
cated at the center of the round section.
