Automatic balancing program
selection
The MT ZERO 6 Touch automatically selects the 3
standard balancing programs, ALU2 and ALU3. Of the
3 programs, one is selected based on the number of
points acquired by the electronic rim distance gauge.

To prevent damage to the electronic rim distance
gauge, always move it to the rest position by hand.

After the electronic rim distance gauge has been
moved to its rest position and the dimensions have
been measured by the program, the process can be
repeated if necessary. The process can be carried
out for imbalance measurement until the first start.

The sensing component to be used as reference
when selecting the balancing plane for both
electronic rim-distance gauge types is shown in the
figure.

The correct position for determining the region
for fastening the balancing weight is shown in the
following. The sensing component must touch the
point that represents the innermost side of the
adhesive balance weight on the rim in the direction
of the spokes.

1. Open the "Automatic balancing program
selection" menu on the main screen by tapping
the corresponding area on the monitor or moving
the electronic rim distance gauge to the centering
flange.
 The monitor will show the following screen.
