9 Connecting the PC Link

9 Connecting the PC Link
Cable set 58 82 050 or 58 84 031 (for second monitor)
1. Cable L38 (XGA) + 1 plug
2. Cable L37 (RS 232) + 1 plug
3. Cable L15 (S video) + intermediate adapter Z
(not required for second monitor)
4. Ground wire
5. Sub D plug with housing for L37 and L38

1. Ground wire:
Unplug cable L7. Connect the ground wire to the PC at
point E. Plug cable L7 back in.
Connect the cables to the external PC at the following
sockets on angle bracket W:
2. L38 (XGA cable)
Fasten the connector in.
3. L37 (RS 232 cable)
Fasten the connector in.
4. L15 (S video cable)
(not for second monitor function without camera)

NOTE
If the S video cable has a socket and plug, make certain that
the socket points toward the connection box of the
treatment center during installation. In this case use the
intermediate (pin-pin) adapter supplied (Z).
