NOTE
The XGA cable L38 has the following structure:
There are three individual coaxial cables and several
individual wires inside the outer sheath.
ATTENTION
Proceed with extreme care when assembling the sub D
plug. Once a pin is inserted in the wrong hole, it cannot
be removed!
Be certain to work with proper lighting! Make certain the
wires are installed using the shortest path! The pins must
audibly/tangibly lock in place.
5. Insert all pins according to the accompanying diagram
(see also diagram on page 20).
Start with the three coaxial cables. The wires belonging
together (core and sheath) must be inserted in the con-
nector simultaneously for space reasons.
You can see the colors of the coaxial cable wires at
the point where they emerge from the cable sheath.
Then insert the individual wires.

6. Next, install the plug in the plug housing. Make sure
that:
• The sheath is seated securely in the plug housing,
• The coaxial cables do not become kinked,
• No wires are crushed when closing the housing.
